Two fun events occur in Southern New England this weekend. The Vintage Motorsports Festival is scheduled for Thursday - Saturday (June 23 - 25) at the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in Connecticut. Its a combined Vintage Racer Group (VRG) and Vintage Sports Car Club of America (VSCCA) event and Alfa is the featured marque. Sunday there's some sort of "extra track time" event at the track.
Then near Boston on Sunday, 29th British Car Day will be celebrated at the Lars Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline MA. Good weather should pack the lawn with over 200 British vehicles of every imaginable type.
I hope to have the Tiger at both, assuming the Prince of Darkness cooperates this year. Friday I'll be in the British corral and hope to do the lunchtime parade laps at Thompson, and Sunday volunteering at the LAAM show.
I hope to meet a couple of you there.

I'll be at Thompson Friday and Saturday. I have my 50th high school reunion on Sunday, so I won't make it to Lars Anderson. The weather will be great all weekend. Will you have the Tiger at Thompson?
I hope the Tiger will be there. I never found an explanation of why it misbehaved on the way down there last year, and I had to swap to my regular car. I've replaced a few likely suspects, and I've been driving it a lot in the last couple weeks, with no issues.
Say hi if you have a chance.

Hey Stu, it's 5:15 and I'm back at home on my deck sipping a Saranac Pale Ale. It was a long day in the hot sun, but I had a lot of fun. (I'm a poet and didn't even know it). I enjoyed hanging out with you at Thompson, and I very much appreciated the opportunity to ride shotgun for three memorable parade laps around the Thompson road course in your Tiger. Thank you! (To be a good husband I'm taking Annie out for a retirement celebration dinner tonight. I owe it to her after a day at Thompson).
I have to add this 2014 video about Frank Gramaldi. His Camaro was beautiful today, as it has been for the past 30 years or more:

Thanks, Gary. It was great finally meeting you, and Mike too. It was a fun day, but it was a hot drive home, watching the temperature gauge all the way. How did that video of the parade laps work out?
Below are some photos of Mike in the Spitfire. More are at: http://www.pbase.com/sb_photos/thompson_2016

Stu, good pics of Mike. I wonder if he was able to get a picture of us during the parade laps.
(I emailed you the video this evening at 10:15).
To close out this thread, here are a couple pictured from British Car Day and Larz Anderson. Super weather, 200+ cars. We had 6 Sunbeams, half of which were seen at Thompson on Friday. And Gary, that lime green TR-3/Opel was there too. More photos are at:
