There's a new one that looks...better? It's also hideously expensive.

I can help with that. I'll move this thread to the Classic forum.

The V8 Interceptor in the movie, I think it's a modified Aussie Ford Falcon in real life.
Edit: I think I'm wrong about the car, but I think I recognize the right movie...
Joe Gearin wrote:LuxInterior wrote: Some sort of 60s Lemans racer?Come on now....this is an easy one. That's the Mk IV GT-40 from 1967. Not sure if it was this exact car, but one won LeMans with Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt driving. After the race Gurney was excited and sprayed the crowd with champaign. It was the first time this was done after a race--- and it started the tradition.
Hey, this is fun! In 1967, Gurney and Foyt won in Car #1, which I think is still in the Henry Ford Museum. #2 was driven by Mark Donohue and Bruce McLaren who finished fourth overall. McLaren, of course, had won the previous year with Chris Amon in the dead-heat finish fiasco.

Voisin C25?

I had to google it, I've never seen one before and I have to say it is quite a pleasing shape. Also, you might want to change the photo name, it makes guessing a bit too easy.

Heck.....I was just looking for Voisin! Winner!

I recognized the Marcos hood badge as well, but it took me a bit of googling to find out what model it was (never seen one before). I found a website that IDs this as a Marcos Mantis 2+2.

I'll have to confess, I saw a Voisin years ago at a show (possibly this very car), and have loved them ever since. Up close they are like jewelry, moreso than any car I've seen in person. It's too bad the French lost their automotive way, in the '30's they were perhaps the most technologically advanced.

If nobody else is going to play, I'll attempt to name another one... I believe that is an Alfa Romeo Tipo 159
Can I play? Yes this is a real car. No it's not fake or 'in the style of' It was built like that in period.

I don't see the photo name, where is it showing up?
In reply to racerdave600:
Yup, way to obvious. Hint, this marque has already appeared in this thread.
