In the UK, the bike would get nearly 97 miles per Imperial gallon. Not bad for a relatively heavy, naked motorbike.
The tank took 2.4 gallons. The fuel gauge was down to two bars (of seven) and had been there for a good 30 miles. It's a pessimistic gauge. But that's better than optimistic.
I’m seeing 97 mpg on my Scram (uk) it’s a comfortable ride and I cruise at 60 mph on the open road, which is fast enough on the UK roads as we have speed cameras and average speed cameras on most of the “nice” roads
