I've owned a '56 KR-200 for 30 years. They are a blast to drive. Not quite a motorcycle, not quite a car. It's something uniquely in-between. Of all the microcars, the Messerschmitt was the most sporting. It encourages you to plan the best line through a turn, makes cool 2-stroke sounds, and has a slick shifter. They make an Isetta look like a porky pig (don't get me wrong, I love Isettas too). This is why 'Schmitts bring so much money today.
