Well it was... Kinda getting worn down.
Its seen its fair share of English oil leaks
I've been wondering about those floor painting kits.
I might have to try one and see how well it goes. I finished up the lighting upgrades this spring.

I have also been thinking about re-doing the layout.
Wife wanted her bike the other day and I had to remove the car to get it down.
Must be a better way.
Andre: Some people have extended their garage to the rear so they can place two cars end to end or have stuff in the original part. A cheaper plan is to put in a full rear exit to move a car into the rear yard area under a canopy. Cheers Ron
I wish. When house hunting, I did manage to get a 2.5 car garage, so I do have a fair amount of space, but it is not really finished in any way. No interior paint anywhere, not finished at all. Plus, its dark.
I have a three car garage, but I've had five cars in it! Curently there are three, with one in a nice wide workspace. The back of the garage is up against the property line, so there's no extending it out back, but I could make it longer, maybe two more bays. I'm thinking of bulding that part taller, so I can put an above ground lift in it. that garage is about 100' from the house. I put a two car carport near the house for my daily drivers.

I have a rear door on my new additional bay. This way I can get the riding mower out without having to move a car.
I've also seen extra depth added to the FRONT ofthe garage. This may not look as bad as you think, depending on the house/lot.
I have my dream layout we'll see how it all comes together.
As per knowing I will have more.
I already know.
Truck and trailer by next year I hope.
See I have 2 mad plans.
1 we move and I find my place.
Or we stay here and I buy a big truck + enclosed trailer and park them off site.
Only time will tell.

I have a unique 2 garage/3 car set up. I have a 2 car facing the street and a single I turn left into. The rest of the house is in between. Before I put a single stick of furniture in the house I treated the floor with a diluted muratic acid wash then used the two part system from Griot's. I ignored the Customer Service rep's advice to use fine sand "about 15-20 grains per square foot" and figured who's counting. Go light on the sand! Looks terrible and makes sweeping and cleaning up harder when you go too heavy.
I wish I did the two car at the same time. The single car garage looks great 7 years later and the 2 car looks like a 7 years old garage that a car nut lives in.
Here's a couple pictures of mine. I painted it when it was new with Rustoleum Industrial Floor Paint. This isn't to be confused with their Garage Floor paint. The one I used is a 2-part epoxy that chemically cures. When I did it, it was much cheaper than other 2-part epoxy's, and does basically the same thing. It's been extremely durable for the last 4 years, but it stains easily, and removing the stains is difficult. I like the satin finish, as I use my shop as a shop, so blemishes don't show as much as they would on a glassy floor, and it's not as slick when wet.

What size is your garage? Here's mine in a more finished state:
Sending this to my wife right now.
I survive with my single car 10x20...
Now that said, I figured if we upgraded to a larger place I'd be paying upwards of $1000 a year more in property taxes.
So this winter I'm renting storage for one of my cars.

Oh, I want that Mustang Fastback. There is no room in your garage for it anyway.
Has anyone mentioned the new issue on its way to readers has 20 or so pages on garage set up?
I thought I was the only one with three cars and one garage! Oh well. Next time I go llooking for a house, which won't be for a long time, I will definitely be looking for a 2+ situation.

It gets parked right under the TVR. And the TVR just got sold, so I actually have to find something to take up the excess room I now have! I'm assuming you weren't serious about wanting it, but thanks for the compliment on the Mustang. Coming from you that means a lot!
