I like the idea of a storage club. Have a meeting room, maybe a lift for inspection. Not so sure I'd want to leave my car at somebody's house. Can just see mom's little angels climbing all over it.

I've had that thought as well. I was thinking of it as a sort of "co-op". Membership covers rent, utilities, insurance and maybe a small (whatever the tax limit is) reserve for maintenance.

My neighbors have a 2 car detached garage. Since they moved in, they've never had a car inside. The 3 cars they have are always outside. Don't ask me why.
