The HSR rule book simply says:
Body modifications from original or as originally raced are not permitted. Specifically flares, spoilers, and air dams are not acceptable unless originally fitted and raced in period. Documentation required for unusual devices.
I want to say that the IMSA RS cars had steel doors, but do you have evidence otherwise? Or are you aiming for a different prep level? If in doubt, I'd just call HSR. Figure they'd know.

Nothing wrong with that.
I dont know the HSR rules well, but I did race in IMSA RS (1973-74). Fiberglas body parts were not permitted unless OE. Doors had to open/close using original hinges and latches, interior door panel could be relieved for door bars, driver side only. Suggest you find a donor car or doors in the junkyard or on the web.
In 1973, we even had to reattach the exterior door trim (brightwork) as it could not be removed. These cars (the legal ones, anyway) were very stock appearing.
