Howdy, getting around to wiring up the Hillman Husky now that the twincam's in (& looking fabulous!). I've got a question. Ok, maybe three questions.

My generic alternator protecting kill switch (6 terminals total, 4 spade & 2 battery lug) isn't marked on the bottom, like Pegasus says it should be with a 'W' or 'Z'. Mine's marked '1' and '2' instead. Link to Pegasus page: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/document.asp?DocID=TECH00109

Can anyone tell me how the 1 & 2 relate to the W & Z.?.?.? Really don't want to release the smoke monster or burn the car to the ground or burn up my new fancy pants alternator from England..

I appreciate the help.

Cheers, Cris

Do you have access to a meter that will read resistance (ohms)?

In reply to paranoid_android74: Yes I do. By measuring resistance against/across the different terminals how can I then use that info to my advantage. Sorry if I'm not connecting all the dots here.

Thanks for the reply, Cris

At the bottom of that Pegasus link you provided they give you testing instructions which would help you identify the terminals

In reply to mith612:

Ahhh, ok. I thought that was for trouble shooting to see if the switch was shot, not to identify which is which.

Thanks.!
