I've never spent much time thinking about floormats, maybe because I don't remember the original versions of these.
Anybody ever used them? What did you think?

I've heard rave reviews on them on another forum. The guy said that the company works with the buyer on exactly what is wanted and designs to that to include a trial fit in progress (basically a template). Haven't used them myself though.
Very popular with the early 911 crowd. I have some in my 71 targa. They are very durable, and quite attractive.
I was planning to order a set of Weathertech mats (for the DD) but I may look at these as well. Pretty cool that they are made in SC.
I had coco mats 25-30 years ago in every car I owned. They work really well in a DD and looked good. I had mine in a Datsun 510 and a Mazda GLC and they were a dedicated fit product from England IIRC.
Oh Yea!
Back in my So. Cal. days it just didn't feel like a sports car if you didn't have a coco mat! If you spent a lot of time at the beach these were perfect! Get into the car with sand on your feet or shoes & in a mile or two the sand disappeared! Then the next time you clean the car, take the mats up and get the sand from the floor. You could sweep, use air spray or whatever to get the sand out. But between when you tracked the sand in and the clean-up, you didn't feel your car was all gritty inside because the sand shifted down.
Also I found the mat covered the rust holes in the floor of my TD so passengers wouldn't comment about the road passing under their feet. But being porous, it allowed the rain water to soak right down and out through the rust holes. Always dry feet!
Same as DeadSkunk, well maybe 30-35yrs ago for my coco mats, loved them. Had lost track and was glad to see they are still out there.
Thanks Tom Heath for the post.
DeadSkunk, they looked great in my 510 wagon.
