Ha! That Odyssey is how I keep the peace in my household, my friend!
Nice pics Rev
I was in your neck of the woods this weekend...went to visit my daughter, she's attending A&M; I kept an eye peeled around town for your blue beauty but no luck.
Updates on maintenance and engine tests
A longtime friend of mine opened a Euro specialty shop in Houston called the Garagisti. He was one of my instructors when I first started HPDE in a miata years ago and we've kept in touch. The 911 needed it's 20k mile valve adjustment, and since it's never had a leak-down test, this seemed like an ideal time. I left her with them for a week and fortunately my friend's longtime air-cooled specialist concluded, "Holy s$!t, that's the cleaned '85 driver's 911 I've ever seen." Leak downs tests indicated:
1: 8%
2: 2%
3: 8%
4: 10%
5: 5%
6: 6%
Since that's indicative of a strong bottom-end, we're good for the next few years! Valve guides are wearing though, leading to extra oil consumption on startup. But that's not worth the cost to me of a top-end rebuild at this time. So we'll just keep enjoying her as a near-daily-driver! I went ahead and had them change plugs, wires, engine mounts (they'd collapsed), and do an alignemnt. She's running well now.
Pics of shop tour with my twins. My daughter favored the fastest car on display, a Mc 765LT; my son preferred the old timers, a minty red e30 and an old land cruiser. Kid has good taste.
Perfect day here in TX for a back-country drive. Here's the sound and view of an old air-cooled driving along cow pastures.
Thanks for any advice! Just looking for fun interaction, suggestions, and feedback. Thanks! teatv apk download
Decided it was time to sell the car I had planned to keep forever. They just got too valuable. She just went live on BAT today. Anything above what I spent on her will go to our charity OnRamp (www.onramptx.org). We need to buy some more Corollas and Rav4's for the next families in line. But I will definitley miss this one.

Sorry to hear you're selling, but it sure sounds like a good cause. Good luck, if I had the scratch I'd bid!
