Many years ago I picked up some vintage Raydyot spun aluminum mirrors at a swap meet. I have always liked them and even though they were a little rough I gave what seemed like more than they were worth. Today I held them up to my fiat and they just didn't look right. Worse than that there was no place to mount them where they were useful so I thought it was time to move them on. Looking around on the internet it seems they might be worth far more than I had thought.
So on ebay they will go. My question is, what should I set the reserve at? Not looking to get rich, just don't want to be taken either.

Would something like this work for you?

I picked them up at the Lime Rock Vintage Festival a few years ago, but I haven't found the right car to put under them yet. Made in Italy.

I am actually going to go with a simple factory style chrome flag.
Those are sweet vitalonis though.
Those Raydots would look proper on my Cooper Formula 3...To replace the Vitalonis!
Oh well...

One mirror recently sold for $209.50 on ebay. In excellent condition

It was an auction, not a bin.
You'll have to adjust for condition but you might get $300 for the pair. Just guessing here.
