.........why don't you sell one of the TR8's and get something else.
Makes sense since I have three of them. Only problem is that I can't really think of anything to replace it with. I'm used to 230 hp modified street TR8's so I'd want something with a little oooomph. I'd probably get $10-12 K for it so I'm thinking Dodge Shelby GLHS, or Mustang SVO, but can't think of much else in that price range. I don't want another four banger British car after owning a Tiger and TR8's. That V8 torque is addicting. Any suggestions.
You can probably find a BMW M-Roadster for around that price. Plenty of power, and they are at the bottom of their depreciation curve.
Boxsters can also be found for that sort of budget--- but make sure the IMS has been fixed / replaced.
Coupe-wise..... nice C4 Corvettes are abundant at that price point-- you may even be able to find a C5 if you search hard enough.
Lots of good choices.....
My initial reaction is to stick with the car you know and love, (TR8's) .
What are late model GTO's going for?
....but to me a TR8 is actually more interesting, even if you have three.

I stay away from German cars just on the inflated priced for parts/service. Vettes have never done it for me.

Give consideration to the Solstice/Sky. Turbo version stock at 260, with factory tune 290 bhp/340 TQ, and tons more for cheap if you want it.
My 30 mpg gas sipper is a 12 second 1/4 mile car.
Maybe a Triumph GT6 with a small turbo or a 60 degree V6 transplant with a turbo?
Not sure if you're into full-on fabrication or simply modification. The car choices are infinite depending on if you're a buyer or a builder.
These days, it's all about just buying and driving for me, too old and sore to do much building beyond installing a battery, and even then, I never have the energy to fight with re-installing the hold-down bracket.

I looked at a GT6 fitted with a Rover 3.5. Nice conversion.
My wife is always saying I should sell some of my TR8s as well. There are 6 TR8s, a couple of TR7s and a couple parts cars out there now so maybe she has a point. About the only thing I can think of that I would rather have than another TR8 is a Pantera
