This highlight reel has it all: Fine British cars, vintage charm and spinning cars. Lots of spinning cars.

Any car shown you wish you could still take home today?

Wasn't it the Earls Court motor show where one year a manufacturer used models that... lets just say they weren't dressed like the models in this video?  Was  it just for a preview day for the press, or was it for the whole show?

I enjoyed viewing that. I was going to ask about a video of the 1958 Earls Court Auto Show, but I found 1:25 worth of it.

There is a brief mention of "Goldie", the Austin-Healey 100-6 with gold-plating instead of chrome, ivory instead of bakelite, and mink fur instead of leather. I saw "Goldie" at an Austin-Healey National Meet many years ago.

stu67tiger by the early Seventies, the outfits got skimpier and skimpier at these shows. It seemed like each car company escalated the skin race to the point there was some nudity.

Actually, more than 'some' nudity. 1971 Earl's Court:  (and see https://www.motorpunk.co.uk/articles/easiest-job-world-sleazy-70s-ad-men/ for a fun article.
