So over last weekend we, or I, bought a new car. This one is not really much of a project, it has a few small needs that need attending to, basically a front valance paint chip repair and a dash repair, leather is pulling up a little. I know not much of a project but this car is a keeper for sure.
Yes there is no way David or Tim actually believe I will ever really keep a car longer that 6 months but this one is different.

Tim, I am quite insane enough to buy a 400i. I know better. :) Great cars that are miserable to service and have super high service costs.

I can tell you we have never had one in our fleet.
Maybe I'm putting too much stock in the 'blue' thing but two other cars that come to mind are the various Alfa Alfetta based sedans or Jaguar XJ6/XJ12s.

I'd prefer a Sagaris myself, but I don't believe there are any in the US. I think there's only a couple late model Tuscans.
