You need another project, you know you do.

What if it's not a scam? Tell the guy what he's got? Bring cash and your conceal carry? Or post this in 'the one that got away' thread?
Oh, hey guys, what's going on? Tim's having computer problems, so he probably won't be able to see this thread. Ever.

If it's not a scam, then the guy sure is taking a long time answering my email.

Reverse image search brings up the exact image in a barn find article from a few years ago.
In reply to Gasoline:
Wow! Nice detective work, finding the old photo online. Scam confirmation!
So can someone tell me, how does such a scam work? Do they get people to wire money to their account for the car that doesn't exist? Arrange for someone to show up on a dark street with a pile of cash?
My computer is working just fine thank you. Fortunately, I am filled with so much common sense, that I don't need another project. Sure!
I literally had to build racks in my pole barn to hold all the project cars I have stacked up. I think I am good for at least 5-10 years.
Still, if you find something that isn't a scam, I might be able to squeeze in just one more, especially if it is an Alfa Spider, like the ones we wrote about this issue.
