Don't know how accurate the description of "top" 50 is but lots of fun to look through these pics. Proves my knowledge of car brands is not as good as I thought, but most never crossed to the USA

Interesting link! good list too... only 3 or 4 of the really modern ones that i didnt recognize. but most of the cars in my garage should be included too!

I have seen pics or articles detailing nearly 90% of these cars. Some, if you go by looks along, are justifiably forgotten. I did notice that a fairly large number were either "kit cars" from the U.K. of fiberglass bodies of mainstrean sports cars.

I am not sure if you can call a Swallow Doretti, Elva Courier, Facel Vega HK500, Fiat Dino or the Lamborghini Silhouette forgotten. All have appreciated quite a bit and have pretty strong followings here in the U.S. I bid on a Swallow Doretti last year and was outbid and have been seeking a Lamborgini Silhouette for awhile. It is a cool list though with some nice historical snapshots.
