The GT6 has a homemade fiberglass bucket from Group 44.

Yeah I'm after more safety.

And now that I have decided to do a full cage I will get a seat that will be setup to work with the cage.

Plus with the rain we've had every single race weekend a cloth based seat would just get soggy :)

The Kirkey factory is only 51 miles away.

So in under 2 hours I was there, bought my seat and home...

The Hoerr Racing seat I have in the TR3 is super comfortable, reasonably priced and made of aluminum. The GT6+ seat is the original seat. It is just a fiberglass shell with a vinyl cover. While I don't feel it is safe, it is original and needed to be left this way to run Monterey. The GT6+ also raced with a stock, earlier GT6 passenger seat, which is now back in the car.

I trust your planning a better seat for the other races?

I'm going to keep the passenger seat in the FIAT too. The chance to do those parade events is why I got hooked.
