You care about the quality of the steering wheel, the seat and even the shift knob, so why cheap out on floor mats?

Quality floor mats–like the Cocomats from Cocomats.com that we put in our project cars–go beyond just looking good.

Chris,  I thought this was going to be a Weather Tech advertisement.  LOL

I somewhat hate to say it, but over the years I have become a Weather Tech bigot.  Every daily driver and work truck has them, and some are 15 years old.  When we pass on the cars the original floor and mats look brand new.

That said, for Sunday drivers at C&C cocomats are so cool!

I kind of hate to say this, because I like what the company does to sponsor our favorite magazines and motorsports, but I'm kinda done with Weathertech mats. They look great for about a year, then they start to fade and turn gray, and the edges start to curl. Because of their textured finish, it can be hard to ever get them completely clean.

So, when filming this video, Chris asked me to remove the Cocomats from the 911. I was surprised/impressed by how much effort it took just to get them out of position. Not only are they heavy, but it's a tight fit.

I will probably do Cocomats in my Datsun, once it's driving and all the doors open and close :). They look great.

I think a good floor mat stays where it is supposed to be and not move around ,

for the cars I have it also need to protect mud from getting on the inside rocker carpet ,

I must say I have never  seen much care in  what your muddy shoes will get dirty.

It's really a perfect match.

I've had Cocomats in my 1960 Austin Healey for years, and still love them.   As it said in the video, they did not have a template for the early 3000 2-seat side shift model.  I sent Cocomats templates, and they fit perfectly.

When I graduated college a long time ago, I went to work for Automod Atlanta, a WD for a lot of famed brands: Nardi, Momo, Hella, Kamei, Weber, K&N, Amco, etc., etc.

We also carried cocomats. Were they really worth it? The owner said yes, so I ordered a set for my Sentra SE-R. I was making like $18k a year, so this was a big purchase.

Totally transformed the feel of that little car.
