Not much gives a car its character like its wheels: wire wheels or slot mags, dubs or Cragars, Minilites or steelies.
Do you put function over form? Form over function? Or do you like what you like?
When it comes to wheels, which ones are your favorite?
Those who know me know that I have a thing for wheels. Once I get a few clear minutes, I’ll share some favorites.
I loved the Revolution mags on my TR5, period correct and allowed for larger tires
than the standard 185-15's

One Cortina has Minilite Sport wheels from 1973 the other Superlites.Love the looks of them on English cars.But I want a set of steel wheels..13x6 from England for that factory period look.

I like the bladed wheels on a Bugatti T35B after that it's American racing wheels in magnesium

I had a set of those Panasports on my Sunbeam Tiger and they looked perfect. But my favorite wheels came on my JCW Mini Cooper.

Rostyles are underappreciated.
Love the classic look of the 1950s Dunlop racing wheel, as seen on D-Type Jags.
I've always been a fan of the Buick Skylark GS wheels, Grand National Wheels and the Pontiac Snowflakes.
I have a couple:
15x7 magnesium Campagnolo on my Islero (they used the same wheel on the Miura).
They use the same spline as most British cars (Jag excepted) but the wide tire was a poor fit when I tested it on our MGC:
Dunlop peg drive steel wheels as stock on MGA Twin Cams and Deluxe models
I also like the chromed 6" Dayton wires on my Jamaican MGA

Cragar made these for Shelby in 1964-65.
I’m going to start with a favorite that’s a on the modern side, even though it came out in 1996: Volk Racing TE37.
Lightweight, too, at less than 8 pounds for the 15x6.5-inch size. Forged aluminum.
