So my Corvair has aftermarket Anco wipers with the air deflectors to help hold them down to the windshield at speed. My problem is that I can't seem to find wiper blade refills for them. Anyone have a clue where to look? Anco doesn't seem to have them anymore. I would like to keep them seeing how wipers from this era suck at speed.

Here's what I'm talking about:

You can pretty much make any re-fill work, just gotta get in there and work a bit.

I really love the stock wiper blade holders on my Mustang, but usually have to disassemble the aftermarket inserts and just use the rubber blade parts.

Hit the FLAPS and bring one of the blades in with you and see what looks like it'll work the easiest, or maybe just search around some more. Possibly Rock Auto or a place that specializes in classic cars?

Good luck, we went through something similar with the Vega, but lucked out with a place in Northern Cali.

I just found on Clarks Corvair Parts that they sell an Trico/Anco blade refill for original wipers. Some how I missed it. I'll have to email them and find out if they fit mine.

You'll need to log in to post.
