Was able to spend an hour at World of Wheels Museum before catching a flight home outside of Portland, Oregon in Wilsonville. Very interesting! Racing simulators and a sampling of numerous motorsports. Mickey Thompson's 4 engine land speed car (1 for each wheel), Jungle Jim Funny Car (I remember that one as a kid), Brian Redman's BMW racer and Rickard Petty NASCAR car. Even had a Spec Miata car. These I found most interesting as I've never heard of them before. Aston Martin Zagato. The blue one in the background is a rally car.

That does look nice. Haven't been to that one.
It's fairly new and it's also where they hold the local Cars and Coffee for the Portland Metro area. Every Saturday morning from 8am rain or shine.
I live about 30 minutes away and I like to find an excuse to visit :)
Tim, If you'd like a tour, I'm sure they'd hook you up. If you'd like a contact or two though, LMK.
Mistake on the name. WORLD OF SPEED
Link for World of Speed
Right across the street is Vangaurd Brewery. I got them the military helicopter parts hanging on their wall. Good beer too.
In reply to Stefan (Not Bruce): The only free time I had was the morning I left. Was there for work. Dealing with a civilian helicopter company there with some international military. Socializing with them was part of the job. Hopefully next time I'll have more time. Didn't realize so many from here in that area.
Also noticed another shop close to there that appears to do restorations on older Euro cars. Saw a few really nice older BMW's in the window.
