Anybody else looking to do King of The Heap at NCM this winter? I'm interested in doing atleast one event this season. I have a car in mind I could probably get ready but it would be smarter to join somebody else's team if anybody would have me. I'm fairly useful as a wrench if needed but have 0 experience as a driver in a competitive environment. I do however have mechanical sympathy and my own helmet so there's that.

If you know of any, send them my way. The first event is this Saturday which is too soon but I'd like to participate in another.
As I mentioned to Daylan, I can buy a car but would like some help with the spec tires, possibly getting it there, and some incidentals.
I'd also be happy to join a team that already has a car.
