That shifter does have a bit of Shelby Cobra vibe going for it, but not much. OK, none.
My inlaws had a 4.3 auto Astro for years and really liked it, a V6 MT Astro could be pretty OK. I just sold a manual-swapped VW Eurovan with a 24v VR6, which is the combo they should all have been.
