Anybody know how to remove the radio from a 2004 Honda Accord?
I need to get access to the antenna connection in order to add a Sirius FM Direct Adapter.
The car is an EX-L WITHOUT the navigation system, if it makes a difference.
Thanks.

If it's the generation that has the big flip up compartment...
Pop off the trim around the shifter.
Pull out the ashtray/change holder- not just the rubber liner. It has a tight clip. Pull the phillips screws and the whole ashtray assembly.
Pull phillips screws under the ashtray for the flip up compartment.
Make sure the shifter is all the way back and the compartment is closed, and pull it out. This is a little "fun". Try to hyper extend the door closed and the back of the door will clear the bottom of the radio.
You can get to the antenna through here, but if you want to keep going, pull the lower radio screws, pop the trim off above the radio and you can get the top screws and pull. Btw, the radio will probably codelock if you unplug it, and watch your wire routing with the whole door assembly...
later, matt
