I went to the sno drift rally in Michigan over the weekend. Man, that was a blast! The first time I've been to a rally, and not the last for sure. I have pics but can't post them right now, but I well so no "WPWP' crap people.
I worked the start box for the second from longest stage and the same corner became a midway point for the longest stage on the rally and it was awsome! I met Travis Pastranna, Antoine L'Estage (sweet Tiburon), Tanner Foust, Jaroslaw Sozanski and a bunch of others. Pastrana is a real nice dude.
Mark this on your calandar for next year folks, it is a great time!
I also worked the event.
I was in the Rally America information booth, so if you stopped by, you saw me.
I also got to meet Pastrana, Foust, Block, Dave Mirra, Andrew Comrie Picard, as well as some great rally legends like John Buffum. I even had a short conversation with Block's co-driver Alessandro Gelsomino (in spanish), that was pretty cool.
all of these guys are very open and willing to speak with fans, it was a great time.
^^ He was the one with the Baconator ;)
I was there, but not to work, only spectate and make sure my German buddies didn't get deported.
Hey have you guys seen that Ken Block video? I've heard its pretty cool.

pics from an aquantence of mine.
I was there working Lewiston service and the SuperSpecial we sponsored. You may have seen my car: the Legacy Outback with a bit of vinyl on it.
Had a great time as usual and even managed to win the Sno*Cross held between the SuperSpecial runs. Great weekend!

What you didn't let anyone codrive? Lets see you sponsor the event and then you "win". Suspicious...

Well, technically speaking Bruce we only sponsored the Super Special and not the sno*cross so I can still sleep at night.
Why wasn't that little RX-7 out there trying to beat him Bruce?
seriously though, TIM was one of only 2 drivers to get all four wheels off the ground on the "yump". That car was definitely moving quickly...even if he did spin it on his first run of the afternoon.
