Who all is going from the GRM Forum world? I plan to be there as it will most likely be the last sports car event I can attend for a while before my obligations to this wonderful country start (not being sarcastic either, I'm excited). I will most likely leave late Thursday evening, stay with a friend in Woodstock, GA for a bit on Friday then head to the track Friday afternoon. It's only a month away, but I've read they are limiting the field to 53 cars and LMPC and GTC cars will have to qualify their way in to race. I really just wanna see the R18 once haha.
I will be there. I think I'll be coming down with Aussie...so he should be there too. I know Duke of Understeer is committed to working pits, and most of the Hongs usually go IIRC.
I might have a couple of tix we get there tuesday then leave Thursday ,,,,,,,,,,
I'll be there Wednesday. I'm not sure were I'm going to camp this year; turn 10a for last five years . . . . might need to mix it up.
I'll be thar - wifey and I are camping for the first time. Not our first rodeo, but we got jealous after seeing the shared grm debauchery at the Mitty.
The GRM booth will be up and doing the bizzzness. Make sure to stop by and say hello to Andy Reid and I!
I am going to be at turn 3 as of wednesday morning until sunday. It is and every year tradition for me but my first year of being there for the whole shebang. I am very excited I have a motorsports themed shirt for every day inculding to GRM shirts and a cone killer t-shirt.

Porsche flip over at Petit
The T8 hil was shaved a few feet lower because of that incident; it was overdue.
Denny Hulme and Mark Donohue (along with a few others) had similar crashes at the same spot. Hulme flipped at a Can-Am race and walked away hating the track. I can understand why after seeing the remnants of his car next to the guardrail.
i've never been to Road Atlanta and it will most likely just be the girlfriend and I with one of these coleman one minute setup/take down tents. I know all the best spots will likely be taken up by friday but what's the best place to camp out liek that?
Ill be there, either with the Jet Alliance Lotus GT2 team or with Flying Lizards. Thinking im gonna camp out up at Turn 3, or "Bob's Hill." Just keep your eye out for my Black Volvo 850 Wagon, ill be around.

I have to miss it this year (first time in many years) due to one of my friend's wedding coinciding with race day, pffft, women...
We just paid through the nose for our BMW corral tickets. Two years ago the hospitality tent saved us from the monsoon, I got to meet the team drivers and then we won the door prize, so I figure I'm still coming out ahead.
Unfortunately I will not be able to make it, I just used up all of my vacation doing Army stuff. I really hope I will make it out next year.
Ok, scratch the Lotus Team, Flying Lizards is the way I'm going
Having rough time finding lodging might have to campandbreakfast on the side of the road . Wish we had a hookup close to the track$$

I will be there with 8 of my compatriarts. We are not renting an RV this year so it will be all tents or sleeping in cars.
It is really a great event and if you have not gone it is definetly worth checking out. It is my favorite of the three nearby endurance races. (Daytona, Sebring, Road Atlanta)

I went a looooong time ago. It was a fun experience, but I know that I'd appreciate it more now than I did then.

Track is quite literally in my backyard (sometimes I can hear racing on a quiet sunday morning from my back deck), and while I'd love to go again, I think I'll be too busy finishing up the Challenge car to be able to attend.
The rest of the DIYAutoTune.com tech crew will be there I think (Jerry, Matt, Russ, and maybe others). They'll likely set up the big trailer with our name all over it, so should be hard to miss.
I'm actually going to make it! SWMBO works that weekend, but her family finally has enough experience with Logan's meds that her relatives can cover me. ATM, gonna work practice/q'fying (Wed through Fri)..but taking race day off. If y'all get to the track early, look for me in my hat & 2006 Le Mans overalls (no, I didn't get to go..it was a gift).

My son Ian will be jealous, the Lizards are his favorite team. I think the livery is what started it but the below pick is what sealed the deal. This was at Mid Ohio in 2007, he was 4 at the time and thought it was the coolest thing ever.
I'll be there driving one of the Skip Barber MX-5 in the Playboy MX-5 Cup. It's a separate race group, so we start a bit behind the Cup cars. Similar prep level, but the Barber cars have street tires, which should be interesting about 20 minutes in when the Cup leaders start coming by.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to be there, either as an employee in the booth or as a civilian actually watching the races for a change.
I'll be rootin' for ya JG
Know your number yet?
I am getting super excited just four work days left for me woot.....
