Audio....JG was just out to lunch
haha for some reason I thought that might be JG... having never met a single one of the GRM staff... next year... next year...
twin engine excort fixing to run
Any updates on Aussie Steve? HA! Just got an update live, lol. Looks like the competition is TIGHT from 2nd place down! Enjoying the Wallens/JG banter.
What has four wheels, sixty legs, and can't help but tell you how smart it is?
Also, I know you enginerd types love nothing more than to overcomplicate something that should be very simple, but generally speaking, it's a pretty bad idea to strap yourself to the front of a car. Come to think of it; obviously the guys in the back are doing all the work. Maybe you strap-ons are the smart ones!

Steve said his clutch was gone when I talked to him last. That car could have been in the 12s I think.
We had a epic assotment of woes, autocross, shorted msd ignition wire out, broke throttle cable on 2nd, cable came loose on 3, clean run on 4, good time bad timing, then on 5th a 41 but with a cone, dang.
The passes at drags, first was on autocross tires due to the week clutch, slow but a time, 1st on drag slicks 13.48, clean launch, driver not so good. 3rd pass, loads of tires spin through 1st then around 325 yards engine shut down.
Clutch locked up and we were done despite the help of all who tried.
Have I told you guys how much I love this event.
Mongo rules BTW
One day, the hard luck breaks and every thang gonna come up Aussie! Been there man. Sorry. Sounds like you're well into the twelves if you can get her running right!
We're doing a bachelor party in ATL tonight, so if you hear an airhorn by the hot-tub at 6AM, we decided to come down, and it's time to come get your breakfast shots.
And what about the caddy powered Fiero and the MX6 that was going to be running a E36 M3 ton of boost?
The MX6 was only running like 20psi, an ran a 15xx due to lack of traction. I know he turned it up to 30 or so, NO idea what happened after that.
In reply to mndsm:
Ben ran I know a 14.2 which was 11th then made two more runs. Didn't hear the results. The turbo had tried to fall off early in day.
Fiero got a 15.3ish iirc
Oh, hey! I made it to the Challenge. The Rotary Miata wouldn't fit in overhead luggage, but Karl La Folette let me drive the MG. :D
Here, have some Challenge memes:

Thanks for the update.
Turbo fell off, was still trapping 98mph. Didnt realize turbo had bit it, kept cranking boost controller, so had to turn it way down when i fixes the turbo. Spent the next three runs trying to dial boost back in, ran out of time for two guts or glory pulls. Car trapped about 105mph on the 14.2 run, about another 10psi of boost to go. (note: Dave Melton trapped the same as me, running a 13.0) There was a 12 inthe car, just ran out of time.
