Oh, and 15.6 @ 98mph with a turbo not really connected to the manifold, only making a slow spooling 12psi (still with over 1/4" of gap between manifold and turbo), and STILL spinning like hell = Swank Force One retard strength.

I couldn't love the GRM challenge more, and I don't mean to be the PC police or the Guy who has a problem with everything, but I do have a problem with this...
Thanks for the support and encouragement everyone! We had a great time and were so stoked at the opportunity to turn a crummy situation into a great time lol.
For those who didn't hear, we broke some drivetrain and rear suspension parts right before leaving on Thursday night. We decided to come anyway, show the car, and just watch. Then we thought, let's just compete anyway lol.
This year was mainly a development year anyway, and we knew we wouldn't have done well with the stock 2JZ. Also, the aesthetics were not there at all. But we wanted to at least compete and get some times - and we did!
We'll be back next year, hopefully with a self-propelled car!!

Unmetered open n2o line will net high 13's to low 14's.......never had a 3cyl last more than 5 passes though...

Scaries
Dave Melton (heroic showing)
Jeep (believe the hype. It's a piece of art)
Mark Lasota's triumph TR7 (maybe the surprise of the event.)
elDiablo BMW 3 Series (another one to keep a close eye on as it develops)
Top ten was all very tight.

When I wake up, I'll make them prettier. Sorry for the rush job in posting them, but I just got in and it's past my bedtime.
Thanks, everyone, for following along. We had a really good time.

Glad to hear it! Hopefully that means it'll keep happening. It's too damn far away, but I still hope to make it someday.
Also: Jeep fastest on the autocross!?
interesting to see only a 10 sec difference from the fast auto-x times and a 9 sec spread in the drag...
don't know why... just thought it was funny :)...
The jeep autoX win made me giddy in a way i havent been for a good while!
Also, i dont feel like this discounts anyone's accomplishments but i think there's something to Tim's earlier comments.
When i saw this morning that the XJ-R had won best underhood detailing my first thought was 'wow, must be a different ballgame than 2009', because when i went in 09 my response to the underhood detailing winner was 'im just not going to try'. And my underhood was by no means sloppy. Clearly you cant pin anything negative on anyone else because of that and you dont want to outlaw exceptional effort, but generally you want the least amount of participants possible to have that feeling about competing.
Looks like it was another great event, congrats to everyone involved!

That last thing that little 3 cylinder needed was more weight to haul around, and those cars got quite a bit heavier in 95. I ran a 17 with a 94 Metro with cam, exhaust, etc. Whenever I tried to run nitrous on it, even a 30 shot, I blew a head gasket, and they aren't typically a problem.
You'll see a clean one soon in the build section
