Just checking in that everyone's getting home okay.

Unfortunately it wasn't a straight shot home
We're about half way back to MA. Probably going to pull over in a few hours in a Walmart parking lot to nap.

What?, please explain?
We stopped in Knoxville, Vince not feeling well, done for the night

Don't worry Steve, this was a planned "loss".
Just in case you all were wondering, that red chevy had just enough tire left to get me to my flight home.
I'm back in philly all in one piece but hurting like hell. By 7:30 I was home with the family, ordered up a pizza, washed off the airplane funk and was in bed around 9:30...
Hopefully I will see you all next year.

Dropped the fiero off in Jeremy's yard. I believe it is in much better hands now. Managed to improve 1.5 mpg with just towing the trailer home.
We made it home in 17 hours, but since we were only spectators there was no trailer to slow us down. A great event ,as usual. Thanks to all the GRM staff. Special thanks to Aussie for the Friday night "entertainment", too.
We should be back next year, but with a car in tow.

56.6 MPH average from launch to touch down, which includes 2 sit down meals and 4 fuel stops. 62.4 average while moving 906 miles....both including a 78 miles crawl for bumper to bumper stop and go traffic on the north side of Richmond. I'll take that. We made south SC to north NC averaging 80.
We had to get some tires on the new trailer around 7pm last night. Thankful Gainesville tractor supply had what we needed. Drove as far as Tallahassee last night. Headed West now.
Home but hurting, Gainsville to RI in 24 hours with one traffic jam and a 2.5 hour nap. Still unpacking, why did I bring so much!!
We made it home without incident a couple hours ago. I am already parked on the couch hanging with the wife and the dog. Hopefully I will be able to make it back next year!
Fla to Atl yesterday. Did ATL to DTW (Detroit) today. Lost 2 hours in Tenneessee due to freeway closure. (accident)

Was it I-65 north of Nashville? I've been slowed down there a handful of times for accidents, including a massive pileup that shut down both directions for several hours.
I'm guessing that would be out of your way going to Detroit though.
Still in making it back to ElPaso. Stopped in Dallas, to return VWguyBruce. To his family. I'll be back on the road in the morning
blew a tire and lost the tread on another one, we used the hoosiers the rest of the way home, about 4 hours. made it safely. had an awesome weekend, I'm glad to meet all of you and make new friends. cant wait for next year.
