That's not what I'm talking about at all. That's easily understandable.
What I'm talking about is that they make blue cars and silver cars and red cars, and they make black interiors and grey interiors and tan interiors. But if you want a blue car you can only get a black interior, if you want a grey interior you can only get a silver car, and if you want a red car you can only get a tan interior. If you want a blue car with a tan interior or red car with a grey interior, you are SOL.
This is the precise color selection problem that drove us right out of the Acura dealership. They made 3-4 different color interiors anyway... and then utterly and ridiculously limited which exterior paint colors you could pair them with. And one of those combos was a blue car with a red interior, so you know it wasn't a conservative taste thing.
