It needs a big wing on the back, like the original.

Any word on MSRP? There are a ton of cool EVs coming out but I feel like they're all $60k+. We need some in the $20k-$40k region where there are so many fun ICEs to choose from (Civic SI, WRX, Elantra N, Mustang, etc.). The 2022 Charger started at $32k so maybe this will be in the ballpark?

Glad to see Dodge getting on board the EV wagon.

I haven't seen anything about pricing. I'm digging to see if I can find a ballpark range.

Nothing yet, but I'd be pleasantly surprised if MSRP is in that $20k-$40k range.

Will they sell it with a Dodge-branded Dodge Charger charger?

That is a surprisingly good-looking vehicle in the red while the silver makes it look a little bland.

A ball park would be take a most recent ICE version of a Charger/Challenger in the most equivalent optioned type and add 15%. Probably reasonably close.

Sorry, probably behind in the news but is the Challenger name dead (for now) and the Charger will be both the two and four door varieties?

My WAG on the price is starting in the upper 40's.

I'll admit, the 2-door styling looks great.

Anyone wanna take bets on how long before someone rips out the EV bits and stuffs a HEMI into one? devil

In my case, less "on board" and more, "acceptance of the inevitable..."  at least it looks good.  It doesn't really fit my needs, so I'm unlikely to buy one regardless.  I never bought a ICE Challenger either for similar reasons, so I can't really complain.

I do like the idea of the 2-door with the 3.0 TT sounds like a solid daily/track car if they can keep the weight down.

So, are we predicting that dealer "Market Value" adjustments are going to reach 100% on these?

I like it, I think?

This is 100% going to be one of those cars I need to see in person to determine whether I like the looks or not. I do like that it's a hatchback, and that the 4-door variant will also be a hatchback.

Count me in the group that will be awaiting the ICE models. The 420hp variant sounds great to me for a daily driver. Guessing that these will start in the upper $40k range, which is dumb, but that's what cars cost now, I guess.

Oh damn. Even with developing an EV dodge still wants to enable hooligan activities. I support this through and through, its sounds over the top.

I'm also interested in the tt inline6, might be the next 2jz! Imagine a dodge powerpack tune from the factory that brings the i6 to hellcat like power.

A two door Dodge Charger?  Sacrilege!  Burn them at the stake!

What?  Dodge has been making Chargers like that for years?

Never mind.

I'm going to go against the grain and say this looks terrible and the interior looks to be only a slight upgrade to the current charger/challenger models. It looks frumpy at best.

This should provide amazing headlines with their commitment to rust and electrical gremlins continuing into the EV space.

Instead they gave you one on the front.

Haven't seen that since concept cars from the 1990s

In pics, I greatly prefer the current Charger/Challenger. But I'll reserve judgment until I get one in front of me in the real world.

I don't think I've seen a rusty Charger or Challenger.

Now, maybe they are all flayed to death before they can rust - that's a different story.

The trucks and minivans definitely rust, but I really can't say I've seen recent Mopar cars with corrosion issues.
