This is scary but if if anyone wants an original Mini Cooper your going time have to pay through the roof regardless now.

Reshelling a car is 100% legal in the UK. Heritage mk1 shells are Readily available and early Cooper S cars are valuable as any truley iconic car with a genuine motorsports heritage should be.

I get it. I wouldn't do it myself but I understand.

Every now and then you'll see a cowl panel cut-out selling for similar money on eBay, because it has a desirable VIN to build a car around.

Unless this car has some type of race provenance it makes no sense. A quick google turned up several Cooper Ss around 40K
