Took this for you guys a few weeks ago. It's my daily driver.
It's actually got 414K now.
I was gonna say, the only way a car with Ford gauges goes 400K miles is if it's a F series truck, or the gauges are transplanted into another car
Although I suppose the Escorts were fairly reliable.
Even so, have fun, here's to 100K more.

Nah, the E-series will do it too. I've got a E250 well over 400K and a E150 that's coming up on 400K and another E150 sneaking up on 300K.
Congrats. Keep in in the wind.
Gee....my DD just hit 100k, but then again she's only 3 years old...dunno how long yours has been out there but I got a feeling I still need to do some major miles to catch up :)
last time I took a pic was when my Impala rolled 100,000. Of course the picture was in 1999 and it was a 1970 model. My exploder is just about to turn 200,000

And my wife thought 56k on our '08 smart was a lot of miles. Damn!
200k is generally the point where I pull the ripcord and move onto something else.
Regardless, awesome that you've kept her running so long, SVreX
Most miles on a car ive owned is 358, followed by 315 (current dd) and 314, and then scads in the high 200s.
But the most IVE put on any one car is ~50k. In ten years of driving ive had 40+cars so i havent put hundreds of thousands on any one of them.

There's a high mile list over on SmartcarofAmerica.com I think Im in the top 10 for 451 cars, but there are others above me still.
Congrats! I used to want my car to reach 300 or 400k one day. Now, not so much. My daily has ~170k. If gas prices stayed the same, it would cost me ~$30,700 just in fuel to reach 400k.

I read an article a couple of years ago about New York City cabbies driving Lincoln Town Cars and Crown Victorias who would routinely put 500K to 600K miles on their cars.
