Hey

I have a 95 accord with a bad driver seat. The left side of the seat and bolster is crushed from previous owners entrance and egress. It totally throws my back out of whack. I've looked at cheap racing seats ($300-$400 a pair) on line. Are they any good or does anyone have any other cheap swap ideas? Maybe an auto upholstery place could replace the foam in the seat?

Thanks Brian

Auto wrecker or craigslist to find a new seat. You can pull the seat apart and fix the foam, reassemble too.

I would see if there is one at a junkyard.

Junkyard for a 96-97 Coupe seat. Much more supportive(although my LX seat doesn't have lumbar adjustment, I think the EX's did), VERY comfortable. The cheap 'racing' seats suck. Hard, not FIA approved, and will probably assist in killing you in the event of a wreck.

Lots of factory Honda seats can be swapped in with a little work to the mounting brackets and/or seat pan swap. Pretty well covered around the likes of cb7tuner.com hondasociety.com and honda-tech.com
