I really want to learn to drive on two wheels. I wonder if there is anything needed to be done to the car? Do you think they need to do anything to prevent oil and fuel starvation? I understand that it's not the safest, but I would be doing it on a private road.

That looked too steady to be real. They were moving all over the place with the wheels and it barely wobbled at all. I call fake.

I'm thinking they had some major support on the side you can't see. Way too steady. And wouldn't the tires have shown some deflection with that kind of load on the sidewall? Fake!

That's what I was gonna say ! eleventy billion psi in the tires ? Now I may be carbon-dating myself but I've seen Joie Chitwood stunt shows with driving on 2 wheels & the balance is virtually razors edge....

I remember a small toy truck from when I was a kid that had conical wheels that protruded outward to allow you to drive them on two wheels. I was thinking they were Stompers, but google search regarding Stompers found no such thing. Maybe they did something like that?

I cant get to YT where Im at right now, but it sounds like youre all talking about a car driving on 2 wheels. I cant find any pics or other links online right now, but if anyone remembers an 80s movie called D.A.R.Y.L., theres a scene where a car does that. In the movie, its remarkably realistic, with the car wandering a bit and as the driver inputs changes into the steering wheel to keep the car balanced, the changing "height" of the front tire causes the car to move up and down some. If it was a special effect, then it was damn good. There was a head on shot where you could see there were no mechanical aids helping keep the car up.

the dudes have taken off the 2 tires in the air, and then put them back on...barefoot...in the desert...in full clothing...

I managed to get to the link on my phone, and the desert guys are going WAAAAY too fast. In the movie, the car is barely creeping along at maybe 5 mph. I call shenanigans on the desert guys.

Around 0:50, the camera car gets pretty far around behind... I'm not seeing any supports, though we don't get all the way around. It does appear that the two tires on the ground are leaves scuff marks as they go, though I suppose they'd be scuffing like mad even with some kind of support.

Did they have turning brakes on it to lock the left side wheels?

No chance it's fake. There are a lot of videos of what seems to be the same guy going up on two wheels over .. and over .. and over again. Hell, look at this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oftnkBLixcE&feature=related#at=239

The guy goes back and forth between being up on the left two .. then the right two .. then the left two.

There was a racing / demonstration team that did the "remove a wheel while driving" trick .. I can't remember if it was Saab or one of the crazy Russian people like Lada. That's it! Lada:

Look about a minute in. They take the wheels off and toss them to the side.

This guy just has great car control. Not a fake.

Great car control is an understatement- that thing didn't so much as wobble with those dudes moving around on it.

There is just a bit more than trial & error to get to that point, like years of practice with the same vehicle ! Especially when cranking around in a tight circle like that !

Helmet + flip flops = SAFETEEZ!

There's just something inherently funny about people doing jackassery in anything but baggy cargo shorts and t-shirts with skateboard company logos on them. It completely throws your perspective off. Next I want to see eskimos kicking each other in the nuts.

And just think... Sean Connery as James Bond did that with a rented Mustang (and went from one side to the other somewhere in the middle of the narrow alley ! )
