Talking with him this morning, i think i almost have him convinced to rebuild the current distributor and add pertronix, assuming we can find parts and the dead with the unilite doesn't pan out.
We'll see. Never know with my world.

The Duraspark modules are terrible. I used to keep 3 in my car to make a 200 mile trip. You'll need extras because they overheat and start missing badly. They do cool off and work again but Duraspark is trash. TFI was a huge improvement for Ford. HEI is the low tech distributor champ of all time and it's not even close.
