Is there an easy way to overlay data from the AIM on Go Pro footage? Software that costs money is OK with me.

These two things will be added over the winter, so hopefully I can get closer to driving like a man more quickly.

I would be interested in any comparisons of the readily available software like TrackVision, Race Render, Dashware, etc. I guess I want to see what $50 get's you between the leaders in software.

I built my own GPS/acclerometer/Megasquirt datalogger and want to upload the data on top of video at the track.

I have both race render and dashware. They each have their positives and negatives. Dashware recognizes more video types that I use, and in general gives you prettier overlays. RaceRender allows for more options with putting multiple videos on the same screen. I also think it's easier to map the data to the gauge overlays. If you have a non standard data logger, mapping it in dashware can be maddening until you figure out how to do it. Once set up, it's saved, so it's easy after that.

I keep seeing mention of an AIM SmartyCam that integrates (considering it's the same company) but I can't find anywhere to actually buy it?

I have a feeling buying two products meant to work together from the get go will be much more what I'm looking to do.

Pegasus has the SmartyCam listed as 'in stock'. Doesn't mean it's cheap, though.
