I dont know why you guys waste your time with the mazaspeed3s when you can get 70 horsepower with bolt ons with the stock engine .

Crazy Dealership said: Incredibly fast little car, have owned for over 3 years and used as a daily driver, currently has 136,000 kms, came with the 160 horsepower 2.3 L motor but now with the modifications of a chrome Vibrant header, a Magnaflow exhaust, a K&N cold air intake and a G Force computer chip, it's estimated to be in the neighbourhood of about 230 horsepower, just put on new BF Goodridge radial TA's, new 4 wheel disc ceramic brakes, was professionally lowered when I purchased this car, also has tinted windows, a 4 speed automatic transmission with tiptronic manual shift option, it's a very interesting car, the exhaust sounds so good, it's very loud under throttle but it's tasteful and pleasing to the ear, surprises owner's of old muscle cars who aren't expecting so much power can come out of such a small car. I love this car but it's time to move on to something else, come check it out, partial trades considered

Does Porsche know that Ford and/or Mazda are selling cars with Tiptronic?

I guess Tiptronic is the new Posi.

Slushbox, header (chrome!) and a magnaflow catback? I'm pretty sure I gained more horsepower swapping spark plugs.

even if it did have 230 hp it would be miserable to drive with a 4 speed auto + paddles-that-tell-the-car-to-shift-sometime-in-the-future-maybe

I must have missed something. I gained only 50 HP on my ZX2SR. Oh, I know, I forgot to disconnect knock sensor.

I knew a guy who had a 2.0/4spd that he turbod and eventually made around 230hp (really low boost and tuned up slowly, i.e. the smart way). I rode in it.. It was pretty quick, mid 14s at the track. I had a stock 2.0/4spd and liked the heck out of it. Making it 2 seconds faster in the quarter is going in the right direction.

I never had a problem with the manual shift mode.

I'm driving right by that car tomorrow. Maybe I should run it through the gears.......

I'm very interested in this bit. Porsche says these are expensive, but yet he slapped them on an $11k car?

Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) $7,400
