The TSX is almost done getting the JDM motor & transmission - should be dropping them in tomorrow.
The tires on there now are Firestone Champion Fuel Fighters & look to be a hard high mileage non performance tire. I've never driven the car - since we bought it non running.
Since we now live in the Florida panhandle, no need for snow tires & since it rains so much, need a good rain tire. Have read good things bout the Nankang NS-25 UHP AS. Has anyone owned them?
I have a set of my wife's CLS550. I can't say I really push that car hard though. It had some ancient Nittos summers on there, so not a great comparison. Rears wore fast, but the alignment may have been off. I also ran them high pressure because I put 20s on. If I was in Florida, I'd look at a cheaper UHP summer honestly. They're designed to clear water well still.
I put a set on my e36 this fall. So far I've got ~750 miles on them but happy so far. Quieter and better rain performance than the previous tires: Sailun Atrezzo SVA1 and Federal SS595. Plenty of grip for my measley 212whp.
