Leaving St Augustine tomorrow. It gets harder every time. I can see buying a winter house down here within 5 years. Save $, wait for market to tank again, swoop in with cash.
I love Cleveland, but if i can come down for the challenge and not go back north until march except for Christmas, i'd be a happy man with much less joint pain.

Think we dodged a bullet. In ripley vw having dinner. About 100 miles ago i got the service DEF see dealer message. About 40 miles later check engine light. Every dealer service dept is closed and the truck was counting down the miles until the 5mph limp mode. I filled the DEF tank around 7 last night.
Last ditch effort I remember I packed my trusty harbor freight obd scanner. Got code for low DEF and truck was angry that i was not stopping to fill it. Cleared code and got the 112 miles till you're berkeleyed message. Decided to head toward ripley because I know they have DEF pumps at speedway. Look down about 10 miles in and the message is gone, and i pass where the 100 mile warning would be with nothing. Think we're clear to head home

I still haven't unpacked my truck. The car is in the garage with all its decals still in place and I am contemplating taking it to a trunk or treat tomorrow night.
Cleaned up the brush from the 45' tree that fell and burned the brush pile. Mowed. Went racing on Friday at Cecil with the family. Major success with the flea market yesterday. Moved about 3000# of metal out of the barn to scrap. Header mountain is now cut in half again. Bought a 69 Mustang. Cleaned up half the shop. Got close to catching up on work emails. Complete 3 of 15 performance reviews. Hope to be back to full speed next week. It was nice taking it easy this week.
