I mean one of the other builds on their channel is a Beetle with a turbo 2 rotor.
Crazy build. Be interesting to see how well the 356 does with the turbo rotary
Technically shouldn't it be a 0.65 if a normal 2 rotor is a 1.3? ;)

Pretty neat. Rotaries intrigue me.
In a later video one of the guys is putting an LS in a nice 1969 Mustang Mach 1 which in my opinion is not a great idea but it’s not my car. However, when the owner says “I know I’m devaluing it... But that’s the point!” And “suck it Ford nerds!” He totally loses me. Turns me off immediately.
Probably one of my biggest annoyances in the car industry. Not the GM engine in a classic Ford but the smugness and enjoyment in making other people angry by doing it.
“I do it to annoy the purists” is one of the most inane lines I’ve ever heard. Just do it and shut up already.

I saw a 6.5B beetle years ago on the ShopTalk forums. I kinda forgot about the whole concept. Now I want one.
They're dreaming for 300hp though.

at least they are realistic in saying they will be over the moon if it has 3 digits worth of torque.

I watched it a week or so ago and find it technically interesting but I can't get past the yukking it up for the camera as with most YT videos.
