Anyone going to King of Hammers?

Next weekend is the 2021 King of Hammers in Johnson Valley Ranch.  Anyone else out west heading out?  

I enjoy checking out the different solutions for combining desert racing and rock crawling. The independent front and rear rigs are pretty wild, but last year both big classes were won with solid axles.

Any other Ultra4 racing fans onboard?  

To keep it grassroots, what production based build would you put together to run in the less than unlimited class?  Rules are stock frame, wheel base within 3" of stock, engine and transmission from model range.

I am thinking a LJ Jeep, little longer wheelbase, down on HP with only a I6, but should make it up on the rocks.

I wish I could go because there will be a built 2021 Bronco there that you can ride along in.

I wish I was a little closer. I'm in SW Colorado but it's still a 12 hour drive. 

Looks like they have stuff all week. I would love to get out there. I'll see if I can't talk some of the kids into heading out. 

I have a friend going to help crew with one of the SxS class competitors.

Not sure you could pay me to go this year.
