Anyone in Bangor, Maine?

I've been emailing a guy who listed his 93 325is on CL but i live about 3.5 hrs south. if after talking with the owner on the phone it still sounds promising is there anyone who might be able to get some eyes on this thing for me sooner than i can make the drive up? I may just end up driving up with a trailer and hope for the best but it never hurts to have a backup plan. plus 7 hours of driving for what may be a rusty northeast car would be rather frustrating...

alternatively, any recommendations for a good garage that would be able to perform a proper PPI in the region?

Problem is they are closer to portland (about 1.5-2.5 hr drive) I am about 2 hrs away (from bangor) but shoot me a P.M. and something could be arranged.

It would be great if someone local could take a look at it. Or if you can get it cheap enough it might be worth it to just trailer it back. That's a long day though...

Didn't you just get an email from the seller yesterday? Maybe the sale fell through? Sounds like he had trouble with the exhaust leaking and it might fail inspection. You need to call the guy.

I have a buddy in Bangor and asked him for a reference. He's got a buddy that's a good tech in town who should be able to inspect it before you drive out there. I emailed you his contact info.
