anyone know where one of these may be?

i'm looking for a 4 door bmw 325 with a 5 speed (preferably 86 or older) in decent shape somewhere around atlanta. anyone know where one might be?

I've been looking for a cheap one for awhile. They do pop up on Atlanta CL every once in a while, just not in my price range (sub $1k....like $300, er maybe $250).

wasnt there an article about a guy near atlanta that transplants other, hotter bmw engines into 3 series bmws? I know I saw that article in GRM several years ago. might go find him. be careful what you wish for. I ended up with a first gen M5 out of the st louis mo area.

ha ha ha! yes we do have a plethora of cheap cars here. but for some reason i cant seem to find a 5 speed 4 door under 4 grand that doesnt smell unnaturally bad and has some semblance of a reasonable interior.

lots of 2 doors... but my dog cant figure out how to get to the back seat in one of those........she's sweet, but not all that bright......

if you can live with a lot of interior work, some brake work, and a really sloppy shifter i know of one that was listed for $1K near atlanta. he will probably take $900 if you have the cash. pm me and i'll send you his number. i am just looking for something with a more user friendly interior right now.....

Sounds perfect, except it's tripple my price. Seriously, I'm so broke and I can't stop buying car stuff. I need a support group.
