Kind of wild to hear that it's more comfortable than a G35.  I figured the G35 would be a pretty smooth thing to drive.

The G35 is a great car. Ride quality is great and it drives very well. But it's built for a smaller person. If I was 6' and 225 pounds or smaller it would be perfect. Unfortunately I'm 6'2" and north of 300 pounds. Fords are a good bit bigger on the inside.

I've recommended these 300hp V6 Mustangs as what would seem to be as a good, fun commuter. Enough fuel economy to be acceptable DD and enough fun both on-road and on-track.

I've had rental Mustangs with the earlier V6 that wasn't as powerful and I was left realizing that it really was very similar in size and power to my '97 Nissan 240sx which were just truck engines also.  Nissan 2.4L truck engines.

The added horsepower of this V6 should be a nice addition.

I look forward to your ownership experience.

Congratulations on the “new” Mustang.  I’m pretty sure the Ford engineers on the design team for these were really tall, the drivers seat goes ridiculously far back.

You may not have a need for it but be aware that you can get an extension that will “raise” the clutch pedal about an inch and a half.  There’s a start interlock that requires the clutch to be all the way to the floor. When I originally got mine if I had the seat in a comfortable driving position I found myself stretching to get the clutch all the way down.  The spacer made a big difference.
