I don't understand. Are you complimenting my cars or insulting my photography?
We try to get a lot of motion blur in our pics of track/AX cars, otherwise they just look like they're parked.

We don't get terribly artsy-fartsy typically. Usually the result screams "Trying too hard!" and I can't look at it seriously.
Found a pic of my old Tiburon
I had one epic (?) self-portrait shot of me with this car but can't find it for the life of me.

What's wrong with looking at a car when its parked? I like to see the lines of a car so I can tell what it looks like. In the past some magazines would give you a stationary front view, a back view and a sideview above the car's specs. I know I'm in the minority but for the life of me I can't understand why its necessary to make a car look like its in motion. I mean, its a car. We know. It runs. It can go fast. Duplicating this in a photo seems wasted. Its a neat effect but for us to do sure, but it gets old opening up magazines and seeing them "try too hard" as you say.
Granted, most of my cars look so bad I wish they were blurry all the time.
My DD:
The toy climbing Mt. Equinox, VT:
Our BABE Rally car from last year (this is as artsy as it got):
Sebring at dawn after unloading the 14 car for a NASA track day.
The euro Carrera on the road from my house to the paved road where I used to live.
81 Malibu, current project.
My 70 Wildcat leaving the line with a buddy at the wheel while I take the pic from my Firebird. I'll look for some "artsy" pics of the other cars later.

So I went around and took some new pics to remind myself of why I drive something that lets water in, oil out, and has fiberglass body panels that don't fit together properly. ^^ This is actually a really famous building if you're into astronomy/cosmology... Props if you know what it is. That's it for now... BTW the windows you can see directly behind it in the second pic are my office. Got some nice spring pics of yours? Post 'em here.
Wow! I have not seen too many Lotus Elans around here... I own a 1991 Isuzu Impulse, which shares the same motor as the Elan... Great Pictures!!!
crummy cell pic, but kinda looks cool I think! came from this:
Also, not mine, but I did take the pic with the same crummy cell...
This is by far the best picture I have of my car (which I, of course, didn't actually take myself). It's not so much artsy as it is one of those old "What's wrong with this picture?" deals.
