Looking for junkyards in the northern ATL area. Self serve of course. Marietta and further up the 400 are fine too.

There's one on Buford HWY in Norcross, another near the airport, and a third just outside of the east perimeter off of I20.
A few miles south of the Norcross PAP, there's another self serve yard, but it's name escapes me at the moment. However, expect to pay significantly more there.

Oh really now. That's good news! They're self service, right?

Didn't used to be.
Depends on the part - they keep a lot of common stuff on the shelves in their warehouse, but everything else comes off the lot.
Trying to help out a family member who just moved to the area. Guess he's never heard of the internet and yellow pages. Keeps calling me....I'm 750 miles away! thanks for the tips, I'm forwarding this along to him. Trying to get him to join us, he's in over his head and could use the help.
U Wrench It is right before pull-a-part on buford highway in Norcross, more interesting selection of luxury cars with several cadillacs, mercedes, bmws, and porsches on the lot...
I went to the Pull A Part in Norcross. They seemed to have a wide variety of cars. I got a headlight, brake booster, and door handle for my Aspire, and an oil cap, some wiring connections, random nuts and bolts, and an electric fan for my Supra.
That place was cheep as chips too.

Indeed. The other great thing is that half the time the cholo behind the counter doesn't know what the part is that you're holding in your hand. $20 supercharger ftmfw.
The Norcross P-a-P sometimes looks like nothing but burned out hulks. The cars are usually so picked over that only the body is left. You have to get there and just watch the new cars get dropped on the lot. Then there are the weirdos. I had some guy chase me away from a car just because I walked by and looked at it.
The counter chiquita didn't charge me for the misc. harness plugs at least.
I'm looking through the Pull-A-Part price list here and I come across this,
"DOG HOUSE $18.68 $2.99 N/A"
Is this some crazy slang name for a part that I've never heard of?? I've heard of a dog box, but dog house?

A dog house is the engine cover in the interior of a van.

Their hours are posted on their website, alternativley one would usually ask how late they stay open when showing up to pull parts at a junkyard at 4-5:30pm in the evening...
