Yup, that's what I wrote!

I must be the only gearhead on the planet who thinks burnouts are stupid. The car is pretty cool, I readily admit, but really? Three GoPro angles? And end credits?

Have at it! I quit liking burnouts as soon as I was fixing my own broken crap and buying my own tires.
Let me restate, I do like the car, a lot.

It was four GoPro angles.
And his mom is going to kill him for leaving those marks on that pristine driveway.

that was my same though, i would almost put money on it that the front frame section if from a 4wd s10 and a transfer case from astro/bravada/syclone/typhoon, atleast i would think that would be the easiest option with a GM drivetrain.
and i LOVE burnouts! cant explain it but they are great

A bit of tongue in cheek there!
I read on another site about this car that he claims to have about 40 hours worth of frame fab work in this project. I would have figured ten times that much. Thats almost nothing for what it accomplished.
The last set of tires I bought cost me $800, so, yeah gratuitous burnouts are not in my future either.

Apparently he used a Trailblazer SS system, mated up to an LS3 (IIRC). That thing's nuts!
without clicking on the link, i'll guess that it's the same awd Cutlass that makes the rounds on teh internets every few months or so?
did he finally come clean on the drivetrain? he used to be pretty secretive about it, but it looks like Trailblazer stuff to me..

He says he used a mix of Trailblazer SS and Olds Bravada bits.
