Looks like a hardtop too! You'll do JUST FINE with that investment
I'm sort of in the AW11 market myself right now, real nice '88SC for sale locally but $6k is a bit rich for my blood. Hoping to find a decent SC I wouldn't feel bad taking to the track for around $4k, or maybe the right SW20.
Given what I've seen of AW11 pricing if you keep it stock fix the minor issues with it 5k is likely and can be more. These things especially low mileage ones are really going up in value.

Will you post it for sale on this board please when you decide to pass it on? That thing is awesome

Sure! Do you like gradient vinyl?
I sold this 1989 SC with 100K on it three years ago for a little under 8k. It was almost perfect. Sold it on ebay to a lady in daytona.

Yes, yes I do. I am weird enough to want vinyl SR5 graphics on new Toyotas (people do retro packages for the new Tacomas):

SWMBO and I were talking about old japanese car values today. It's crazy to think how many truly special cars will be gone forever by the time people realize they were cool. I mean how many 77 celica liftbacks are left worth saving? how many nice ae86s how many aw11s? How many silvias? all told a couple hundred? Compare that to all the "rare" collector cars?
In the past 3 years.... I have seen exactly one of my body style for sale....
