Also I forgot to mention this the other day, but Tr8Todd noticed a weird Japanese car at the local Toyota dealer. He had no idea what it was, but as soon as I saw it I knew it was an MS55 Crown. What I didn't know was that it was a RHD former Japanese taxi cab. I thought it was very cool and figured I would share. Enjoy.

I'm not up on my vintage Mazdas, but $30k seems nuts. I'd rather import a Cosmo w/ 20B for probably less than $10k?
The price seems crazy, but it is a rare car even in Japan. Not $30k rare, but rare none-the-less. I would rather it be more original myslef, but it doesn't matter I have no money either way.
It is a rare beast. Too bad they messed with it so much. Not really my cup of tea especially at 30k but you will probably not see another one like it.
If i was bored and had $20k in my pocket, that's what i'd pay.
I'm cool with every last thing done to it save for that driver's seat. Everything else is pretty period correct, quality, and uncommon.
The car is a Unicorn, adorned with Unicorns.
I believe this car is already sold and gone to its new owner.

Not being a jerk, but it's not a 55. It's a 60 or a "kujira." I think that's the newer grill so it might be a 73, but I'm rusty on those. This is a 55
Duly noted. I actually know the difference, but had a brain fart. Not as up on the Toyota stuff as I am Mazda stuff, but regardless I knew it was a Crown the second I saw it.
